Boxing

Boxing is a combat sport in which two participants, typically wearing protective gloves, engage in a contest of strength, speed, and endurance by throwing punches at each other while trying to avoid being hit. The sport usually takes place in a square ring and follows specific rules, including rounds of fighting over a predetermined duration. Points are scored based on the effectiveness of punches landed on the opponent, and matches can be won by knockout (when one fighter is unable to continue), by referee decision, or by points accumulation over the duration of the bout. Boxing has a rich history and is both a competitive sport and a form of entertainment. It requires physical skill, strategic thinking, and conditioning.
